Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mediator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating mediation processes between parties in conflict, ensuring fair and amicable resolutions. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication and foster understanding among conflicting parties.
  • Help parties identify common ground and explore mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Assure that all parties understand the mediation process and their rights.
  • Assist in drafting settlement proposals or mediation agreements.
  • Encourage productive dialogue and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Document mediation sessions and prepare reports as required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Promote mediation services through community outreach and engagement.
  • Provide training workshops on conflict resolution techniques.
  • Offer follow-up support to ensure compliance with agreements made during mediation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mediation or a similar role.
