Highway Maintenance Worker

Job Description

We are seeking proactive Highway Maintenance Workers to join our oil spreading team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining oil spreading equipment, ensuring effective application and management of oil spreading processes on highways.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate oil spreading equipment for highway maintenance.
• Ensure oil is applied uniformly and effectively on designated sites.
• Maintain logs of equipment use and any repairs performed.
• Monitor equipment operations for safety and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to any incidents or accidents during work.
• Assist in environmental protection measures during oil application.
• Participate in emergency response as needed.
• Support other maintenance activities as directed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in highway maintenance or oil operations

Technical Skills

• GPS Technology Experience
• Knowledge of Safety Regulations

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Heavy Equipment Operation Certification
• Workplace Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Hydraulic Systems: Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
• Experience with Environmental Safety Protocols: Knowledge of best practices for environmental protection during oil operations.
