Job Description

The Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA) will play a critical role in assisting surgeons during operations and providing exceptional patient care within the neurosurgery department. This position is ideal for someone with a solid background in neurosurgery and a passion for helping patients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the surgical team in neurosurgeries.
  • Assist with the assessment and management of neurosurgical patients.
  • Maintain strong communication with patients and their families regarding treatment.
  • Keep records organized to ensure seamless operations.
  • Review and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
  • Participate in continuing education and training for skill enhancement.
  • Assist in performing minor procedures as directed by the neurosurgeon.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
  • Certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a surgical setting, ideally neurosurgery
