Job Description

As an Offender Employment Specialist, you will work closely with individuals transitioning from prison to community. By providing tailored job readiness training and mentorship, your efforts will directly contribute to decreasing recidivism rates and fostering self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-placement to ensure job retention.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in advocacy efforts to promote employment opportunities for returning citizens.
  • Engage with community organizations to expand support networks for clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field
Experience
  • Experience working with diverse offender populations is a plus.
