Job Description

We are seeking skilled Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders to join our dynamic textile manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate overlock sewing machines to join, reinforce, and finish fabric seams. Your attention to detail and expertise will help us maintain our reputation for producing high-quality footwear.

Responsibilities

• Run overlock sewing machines to join multiple fabric layers.
• Ensure accurate threading and proper operation of machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines to prevent breakdowns.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of equipment problems.
• Support team efforts to improve production efficiency.
• Maintain records of production output and report to management.
• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in sewing or textile manufacturing

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Quality inspection
• Basic machine maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to conduct minor repairs: Skills for minor machine repairs and troubleshooting will be an advantage.
• Previous leadership experience in a workshop: Leadership in managing workstation tasks will be a plus.
