Hoist and Winch Operators

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Hoist and Winch Operators to join our team. In this role, you will operate hoisting devices to lift, move, and position materials within our facility, contributing to a safe and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with cranes and other equipment operators.
• Conduct safety briefings before operations commence.
• Participate in regular safety drills and training.
• Manage inventory of materials being lifted and transported.
• Engage in problem-solving to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Material Handling is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of operating cranes or hoists in industrial settings

• Load Handling

Certifications

• National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment: Prior experience working in a manufacturing setup where hoisting equipment is utilized.
• Basic Electrical Knowledge: Ability to understand and troubleshoot basic electrical connections and systems.
