Job Description

Join our maintenance team as a Duralumin Mechanic, where you will ensure that aircraft structures made from duralumin are meticulously serviced and repaired. Your work will directly impact aircraft safety and reliability, making you an essential part of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft duralumin components according to maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards.
  • Provide technical feedback to improve repair procedures.
  • Assist in logistics for parts and equipment used in repairs.
  • Participate in safety training and workshops.
  • Perform detailed documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Supervise junior staff during inspections and repairs.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in Aircraft Maintenance Technology is an asset
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment, specializing in duralumin structures.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with CAD software
  • Familiarity with welding and brazing techniques
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
Certifications
  • OSHA Safety Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in engine inspection and repair: Expertise in inspecting and repairing aircraft engines contributes to overall maintenance efficiency.
  • Familiarity with composite materials: Experience working with composite materials is a plus for certain aircraft repairs.
