Job Description

The Crew Foreman will lead a team of construction workers, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations on construction sites.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce compliance with workplace safety standards.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Facilitate communication between workers and upper management.
  • Schedule and coordinate manpower and equipment utilization effectively.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure standards are met.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Construction Management is preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in the construction field
Technical Skills
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Equipment Operation
Soft Skills
  • Adaptability
Certifications
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • LEED Accredited Professional (optional)

Advantageous
