As a Tiller Man, you will be responsible for skillfully steering the vessel and ensuring safe navigation through various waterways. We're looking for someone with excellent navigational skills and a strong adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Control the vessel’s navigation systems using advanced technology tools.
Lead safety briefings before each voyage and emergency drills.
Conduct pre-voyage checks on equipment and navigational aids.
Ensure the proper management of communication equipment onboard.
Respond promptly to navigational emergencies or challenges during transit.
Document all navigational logs accurately and submit reports as required.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
At least 2 years of relevant experience on a ship or other seafaring vessel is required.
