Job Description

As a Ceramic Restorer, you will be responsible for evaluating the condition of ceramic artifacts, executing detailed restoration procedures, and advising clients on care and maintenance. Bring your expertise to our dynamic team dedicated to art preservation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of ceramic items.
  • Repair various types of ceramics using skills in painting and glazing.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on care and preservation.
  • Develop restoration plans tailored to individual pieces.
  • Work closely with a diverse team of art specialists.
  • Implement safety protocols while handling delicate items.
  • Contribute to exhibitions and public displays of restored art.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or related field
  • Advanced certification in ceramic restoration preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years preferred experience in the art restoration field.
Technical Skills
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Familiarity with restoration tools
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • Certified Conservator
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred)
Languages
