Job Description

As a Fugitive Detective, you will play a crucial role in investigating and apprehending fugitives who have escaped from custody or are wanted for various offenses. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of physical fitness. Your work will involve collaboration with law enforcement agencies, conducting interviews, and utilizing advanced investigative tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to track and apprehend fugitives.
  • Utilize advanced technology and investigative methods to gather evidence.
  • Collaborate with community organizations for public engagement in fugitive tracking.
  • Regularly update records and case files as investigations progress.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and practices in fugitive apprehensions.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new investigators or interns in the department.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field is preferred
  • Completion of a specialized fugitive investigations training program
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in law enforcement or investigative work, preferably in fugitive investigations
