Job Description

As a Lens Coater, you will focus on applying coatings while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. If you are energetic and detail-oriented, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Calibrate coating machines to ensure optimal functionality.
• Evaluate the quality of coatings applied to lenses.
• Participate in departmental meetings to discuss production.
• Keep workspaces organized and free of hazards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the production area.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in manufacturing or optical technology is preferred

Experience

• Experience in lens coating is preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude
• Computer skills

• Team collaboration

Advantageous

• Experience with multiple coating machines: Hands-on experience with different types of coating equipment.
• Previous work in a high-volume production environment: Experience in fast-paced production lines is a plus.
