Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide critical speech therapy services to clients with communication disorders, working with individuals of all ages. This role requires assessing disorders, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Design and implement tailored interventions based on client assessment results.
  • Utilize various speech therapy techniques and tools effectively.
  • Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote speech and language growth.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding strategies and progress.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in speech therapy techniques.
  • Document all therapy sessions, progress, and communications with clients and families.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with a focus on pediatric therapy preferred

  • Experience with AAC Devices
