Prepress Technician

Job Description

As a Prepress Technician at Print Solutions Inc., you will be responsible for preparing high-quality printing plates used for various printed materials. We seek detail-oriented individuals with a strong understanding of prepress operations and plate-making technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create printing plates using advanced digital plate-making technologies.
• Inspect and analyze files for potential issues before processing.
• Ensure the accuracy of dimensions and alignments in plate production.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve plate-related issues during print runs.
• Calibrate devices and perform quality checks on equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in graphic arts or related field is a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in the printing industry preferred

• Plate Imaging Systems

Certifications

• Certified Printing Technologist

Languages

• English: Fluent
