Job Description

As a Tank Car, Truck, and Ship Loader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient cargo unloading from ships. This position demands physical stamina and a keen attention to detail to operate various unloading equipment safely. You will work closely with a skilled team to maintain safety standards and keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various cargo types from tank cars, trucks, and ships following established procedures.
• Monitor the unloading process to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with dockside personnel to coordinate the unloading operations effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas.
• Utilize basic tools and equipment to conduct minor repairs on unloading machinery.
• Attend all required safety briefings and training sessions.
• Report issues regarding equipment and processes to the Terminal Supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in maritime operations will be an advantage

• Forklift Operation
• Safety Procedures Knowledge

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
