Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Document Management Specialist to lead the charge in establishing robust records management practices. You will be pivotal in ensuring our records are properly managed, compliant, and accessible.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and continuously improve records management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive records management training programs.
  • Manage both physical and electronic records, ensuring accessibility and security.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve documentation processes.
  • Assess and respond to records management challenges proactively.
  • Engage with external partners or auditors regarding records compliance.
  • Lead a team of records management clerks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare and present records management reports to upper management.
  • Regularly update disaster recovery strategies in line with organizational needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years experience in a records management or information management role
