As a Dental Assistant at Dental Health Partners, you'll support our orthodontists in delivering top-notch patient care. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, taking X-rays, and assisting during treatments. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic procedures.
  • Engage with patients to create a welcoming environment.
  • Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
  • Maintain dental records and assist in the documentation process.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and infection control policies are followed.
  • Coordinate with the administrative team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to practice improvement.
  • Support patient education on oral hygiene and care.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a dental setting
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Experience with dental imaging software
Soft Skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Patient management skills
Certifications
  • X-ray certification required
  • CPR certification preferred
Languages
  • English: Fluent
