Job Description

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting diagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies. Working alongside neurologists and other medical professionals, you will help diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various neurodiagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.
  • Ensure patient readiness and comfort before and during tests.
  • Evaluate test results and generate reports for medical staff.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Document and manage patient information and test outcomes.
  • Assist in training new technologists and enhance team collaboration.
  • Research and adapt to technological advancements in the field.
  • Uphold safety standards and regulatory practices within the workplace.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Engage in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Neurodiagnostics or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting preferred
