Cheese Packer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cheese Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the packaging and preparation of various cheese products, ensuring they meet quality standards for distribution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging materials and assist in setup for production runs.
• Monitor the packaging line to prevent any disruptions.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives regarding packaging processes.
• Support inventory management by assisting in stock rotation.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on packaging machinery.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss productivity and quality improvements.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Assist with developing packaging solutions for new cheese products.
• Participate in training programs for skills enhancement.
• Ensure that all packaging materials are properly stored and accounted for.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in food packaging or manufacturing is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Packaging Machinery Operation
• Quality Control Techniques

Certifications

• OSHA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
