Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication therapies and health management.
• Verify and review prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in medication management programs, ensuring patient safety.
• Provide immunization services and patient health screenings.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Train and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Stay informed on new medications and emerging healthcare trends.
• Assist in developing pharmacy protocols and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency is preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in community pharmacy or clinical settings.
