We are seeking skilled Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team in Detroit. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating lathes and turning machines, ensuring high standards of precision and quality in metal and plastic component manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate turning machines to manufacture high-quality metal and plastic parts.
• Conduct inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.
• Adjust machine settings based on production requirements and material specifications.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in manufacturing technology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in machining or related field
