Job Description

As a Diesel Engine Pipefitter, you will be pivotal in installing, maintaining, and repairing diesel fuel systems in heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks and buses. This role demands hands-on skills, technical know-how, and an eye for detail to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain diesel engines and their components.
  • Analyze and repair issues pertaining to diesel fuel systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers for innovative solutions.
  • Document all maintenance activities for compliance.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
  • Assist in training new staff on diesel systems.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of parts and tools.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in Pipefitting or related field
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel engine pipefitting
