Job Description

As the Chief Sustainability Officer, you will spearhead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies that align with our organizational goals. You will lead efforts to enhance sustainable practices across all departments, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while fostering a culture of environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead sustainability programs across the company.
• Engage with external partners and organizations to share best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.
• Oversee the development of sustainability-related policies and guidelines.
• Analyze data to measure effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
• Participate in industry forums and sustainability networks.
• Advocate for sustainability initiatives at executive and board levels.
• Set ambitious yet achievable sustainability goals and track progress.
• Incorporate sustainability metrics into business performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance sustainability in the supply chain.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, or a related field
• Master's degree in Sustainability or Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within sustainability or environmental services
