Job Description

As a Brownfield Redevelopment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing remediation projects and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Your expertise will help transform contaminated sites into safe and sustainable spaces for community use.

Responsibilities

  • Manage interactions with regulatory agencies related to remediation activities.
  • Review and interpret environmental data and incorporate findings into reports.
  • Assist in managing public relations relating to site projects.
  • Develop training materials and guide staff on environmental best practices.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and prepare recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in ongoing education about environmental management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during site operations.
  • Propose new methodologies for improving efficiency in remediation projects.
  • Coordinate with legal teams to handle environmental claims or disputes.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current in the field.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience overseeing environmental remediation projects
