Job Description

As a Bottom Saw Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our production meets high efficiency and quality standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various saw equipment to efficiently cut logs into lumber.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Train new operators on equipment usage and safety protocols as needed.
  • Assist in inventory management and material handling.
  • Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure functionality.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Industrial Maintenance or a related field is a plus
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or woodworking environments
Technical Skills
  • CNC Programming
  • Maintenance Procedures

  • Teamwork

Advantageous

  • Forklift Certification: Possession of a valid forklift operation certification is preferred.
  • Experience in Other Wood Product Manufacturing Processes: Previous experience in related wood product manufacturing roles is advantageous.
