Metal-Refining Furnace Operator

Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, melting and pouring metal to create precision castings. This role demands attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that every casting meets our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor furnace equipment for optimal performance.
• Load and unload metal and alloys into furnaces as per production schedule.
• Conduct quality checks on melted metal and finished castings.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with team members to improve casting processes and quality standards.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of metal casting techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certificate in Metalworking or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience operating furnace equipment is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of metallurgy and metal properties: Understanding of different metals and their properties.
