  • Plan and schedule logging operations, considering weather conditions and equipment availability.
  • Instruct crew members in the safe and efficient use of logging tools and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functionality and arranging repairs when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices for sustainable logging.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate logs and reports regarding production, equipment usage, and safety incidents.
  • Train and mentor crew members, promoting professional development and a positive work culture.
  • Collaborate with landowners and forestry professionals to optimize logging operations.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED required
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logging operations with supervisory responsibilities
