Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our medical team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental health disorders in patients. The psychiatrist will provide compassionate care, utilize evidence-based practices, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of new patients.
  • Formulate and implement individualized treatment strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and management when needed.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • Document and manage patient care using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Collaborate with social workers and therapists for integrated care.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
  • Supervise and mentor resident psychiatrists or interns.
  • Engage in clinical research applicable to psychiatric treatment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the healthcare community.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Completed residency in psychiatry
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Psychiatrist in a clinical setting.
