Pump Operator

Job Description

As a Pump Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of pumps and related equipment in various industrial settings. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up pumps and associated equipment in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Investigate incidents or irregularities in equipment operation.
• Work with other technical staff to enhance system performance.
• Maintain pump performance logs and analyze trends for optimization.
• Participate in health and safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in the configuration and testing of new equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or coursework in mechanically related fields is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in pump operations and maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Technical manuals interpretation
• Regular maintenance of pump systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication

Certifications

• Certification in pump maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
