We are seeking a motivated and skilled Community and Social Service Specialist to enhance our outreach efforts and provide vital support to individuals in need. You will play a key role in connecting community members with essential resources and services.

Responsibilities

• Identify resources and support networks available to clients.
• Facilitate group support sessions and promote community involvement.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Assist clients in navigating social services and public assistance programs.
• Participate in community outreach events to promote services.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders regarding community needs.
• Educate clients about available resources and programs.
• Engage with families to develop long-term support solutions.
• Link clients with programs that help them achieve self-sufficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Community Services or related field
• Certification in Social Work preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in related roles

Certifications

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
