Job Description

The Radiology Assistant will support radiologists and medical professionals in conducting diagnostic imaging examinations. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures and ensuring their comfort.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination areas for patient procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
• Utilize imaging software and PACS for image storage and retrieval.
• Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions they may have.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on imaging equipment.

Advantageous

• Experience with specialized imaging techniques like MRI and CT: Hands-on experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR): Familiarity with EMR systems will be advantageous.
