Printing Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to produce high-quality molds for casting metal and plastic objects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mold-making processes, materials, and tools. You will play a critical role in ensuring quality control and timely production in our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines.
• Make necessary adjustments to molds based on feedback.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Collaborate with quality control inspectors to ensure product standards.
• Train new hires on mold-making processes and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in Manufacturing or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting

Technical Skills

• CNC machine operation
• 3D modeling software

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift Operation Certification
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a supervisory role: Previous experience leading a team in manufacturing settings.
• Advanced knowledge of materials: Expertise in selecting appropriate materials for mold-making.
