Standards Engineer

Job Description

The Standards Engineer will be tasked with ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining standards that align with organizational goals and market needs. The ideal candidate will not only oversee compliance but will also proactively identify areas for improvement within our engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategy for compliance across engineering departments.
• Enhance internal audit processes to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Implement corrective action plans based on audit findings.
• Provide strategic insights during project planning to mitigate compliance risks.
• Build relationships with industry organizations for standard-setting initiatives.
• Lead the documentation of new standards and processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Professional certification in standards management is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in compliance and quality management

Certifications

Languages
