Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Setter and Operator to join our growing team. This role involves operating and maintaining woodworking machinery, ensuring equipment runs smoothly, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Run the Skoog Patching Machine effectively, ensuring continuity in production.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs when necessary.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols in the workshop.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Training and mentoring junior machine operators.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and report when supplies are low.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous experience in the woodworking industry is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Hand tool proficiency

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with Skoog Patching Machines: Prior experience operating Skoog Patching Machines is a plus.
