Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Paving Machine Operator to manage the operation of our paving machinery. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure the successful completion of paving tasks across various sites.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machinery for various paving projects.
• Maintain high standards of quality in producing concrete surfaces.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate operations.
• Help in troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
• Ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of work sites.
• Report to project managers on progress and equipment needs.
• Assist in developing best practices for safer operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in concrete operations or paving machinery.

Technical Skills

• Concrete Paving Machinery Knowledge
• Heavy Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CDL License
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with different types of paving equipment.: Exposure to various machines and techniques for paving.
• CDL License.: Commercial Driver's License is advantageous for operating larger vehicles.
