Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a passion for financial analysis and adherence to compliance standards. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring timely submissions of tax documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing processes, ensuring timely entries.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Facilitate cash flow management and operational budgeting.
• Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
• Support the preparation of grant applications and monitoring.
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters.
• Implement processes to enhance financial controls.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a financial accounting role

• SAP

Certifications

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
