Job Description

As a Sportsbook Ticket Writer, you will assist customers in placing bets and handling transactions at our bustling sportsbook location. You will ensure a stellar customer experience while managing ticket transactions and maintaining an organized betting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
  • Verify customer identification and compliance with age restrictions.
  • Educate customers about betting odds and options available.
  • Handle cash transactions properly in accordance with company policies.
  • Address customer complaints with professionalism and resolution strategies.
  • Ensure the betting area is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Stay informed about sports news to provide insightful betting advice.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss operational improvements.
  • Monitor betting trends and report concerns to management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within a sportsbook environment
Technical Skills
