Job Description

As a Recreational Therapist, you will develop and implement engaging therapeutic programs that support the physical, mental, and emotional needs of patients with disabilities. Your creativity and expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead group therapy sessions incorporating recreational activities.
• Build relationships with clients to encourage participation and engagement.
• Track clients' progress and provide feedback to the healthcare team.
• Participate in community outreach to promote recreational therapy programs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field
• Master's degree in Recreational Therapy or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in program management and supervision.

Technical Skills

• Therapeutic Recreation Programming
• Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Certifications

• Certified Recreational Therapist

Languages

• English: Fluent
