Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Weapons Specialists, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of critical armament support equipment. This role demands effective leadership and technical proficiency to ensure operational excellence in our military support services.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians in the effective maintenance of armament systems.
• Ensure documentation of repair processes and outcomes.
• Foster a culture of safety among team members.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance practices.
• Handle and resolve employee performance issues.
• Coordinate with supply chain for timely acquisition of parts.
• Participate in strategic planning for maintenance operations.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Monitor and manage equipment inventory levels.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to military operations or engineering
• Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of leadership experience in maintenance within a defense setting
