Job Description

As a Benefits Technician, you will play a key role in managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans. You will support employees by answering benefits-related inquiries and ensuring all processes comply with regulations. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and metrics related to employee benefits usage.
  • Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve claims issues.
  • Facilitate benefits orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Implement process improvements for benefits administration.
  • Liaise with payroll on matters relating to benefits deductions.
  • Conduct audits of benefits enrollment and eligibility.
  • Educate employees about the benefits package and ensure their understanding.
  • Keep current on industry trends and best practices in benefits administration.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or related fields.
