Job Description

As a Cleaning and Metal Pickling Equipment Operator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and treatment of brass surfaces. You will utilize several techniques and chemicals for efficient surface preparation, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare brass items for cleaning by removing any residues.
  • Apply chemical solutions for pickling and follow up with observations.
  • Control the process parameters and evaluate outcomes for quality assurance.
  • Conduct ongoing inspections and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Rinse, dry, and store finished products correctly to prevent contamination.
  • Keep records of materials used and completed procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings focused on safety and efficiency improvements.
  • Train new employees on equipment and safety practices as needed.
  • Assist in developing best practices for pickling techniques.
  • Support maintenance activities for equipment to minimize downtime.

Advantageous
