Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of pest biology and effective extermination methods, focusing on creating safe environments for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend solutions for pest problems in residential and commercial properties.
• Use pest control software for scheduling and recording service calls.
• Develop a rapport with clients, ensuring their comfort with treatments applied.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss challenges and solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in company vehicles and workspaces.
• Adhere to safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• College diploma in Environmental Science or a related field preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in pest control

Technical Skills

• Rodent control methods
• Fumigation procedures

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• OSHA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in wildlife control: Training in safe and humane wildlife removal.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in pest control: Knowledge of federal and state pest control regulations.
