Job Description

As a Shucker at Fresh Seafood Co., your primary responsibility will be to shuck oysters and clams, preparing them for our esteemed clientele. This role demands physical agility and the ability to handle seafood safely, ensuring customer satisfaction with every serving.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all shucking tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of seafood dishes.
  • Stay updated with seafood preparation methods and quality standards.
  • Monitor shellfish inventory and report shortages.
  • Engage with customers and provide insights about different varieties of shellfish.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in shucking shellfish preferred
