Stationary Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers, chillers, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of stationary engines and boilers.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Review and analyze equipment efficiency and recommend improvements.
• Provide support and training for newer staff and apprentices.
• Conduct emergency repairs and maintenance on critical systems as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in HVAC systems is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the energy or utilities sector
