Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support our engineering team in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of engineering projects, assisting in design, testing, and evaluation of engineering systems and components. The position requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the creation and revision of product specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Assist with quality control and assurance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and changes.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in an engineering environment

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• Technical Writing

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with project management methodologies: Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies for project management.
• Experience with testing and quality assurance processes: Hands-on experience with QA testing procedures.
