Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Molding Machine Setter and Operator to join our team. This role involves producing high-quality molds critical for casting various metal and plastic components. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of molding processes and machinery operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate molding machines for various production runs.
• Monitor material usage and inventory for molding supplies.
• Conduct regular quality checks of finished molds.
• Report any defects or inefficiencies to the Production Manager.
• Support team efforts to meet tight production deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of operating molding machines in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Milling machines
• 3D Printing

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project management skills: Ability to manage small projects or team activities.
• Familiarity with CAD software: Experience with CAD software for mold design and modifications.
