Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Midwife to join our Women's Health Department. The ideal candidate will provide expert care throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, ensuring a positive experience for patients. In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor fetal development and maternal health throughout pregnancy.
  • Facilitate childbirth education classes for expectant mothers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care delivery.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies during birth and postpartum.
  • Provide breastfeeding support and consultation to new mothers.
  • Encourage patient engagement and communication regarding health decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts.
  • Support the mental and emotional wellbeing of patients during pregnancy and postpartum.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse-Midwifery
  • Certification in lactation consulting or women's health is advantageous
Experience
  • Previous experience as a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) is preferred.
