Job Description

The Governance Compliance and Risk Manager (GCR Manager) will be responsible for ensuring that our organization maintains compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This pivotal role involves implementing comprehensive risk management strategies, fostering a culture of ethical behavior and compliance throughout the organization, and developing relationships with industry regulators.

Responsibilities

  • Implement risk assessment frameworks and ensure compliance across various departments.
  • Lead investigations into compliance breaches and take corrective actions.
  • Deliver training programs to educate employees about compliance standards and policies.
  • Facilitate audits and assessments in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft and review compliance-related documentation and reports.
  • Advise management on compliance-related strategic decisions.
  • Develop metrics to measure compliance effectiveness and reporting.
  • Maintain a database of compliance regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior among employees.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Master’s Degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience
  • Extensive experience in compliance and risk management, preferably in a corporate setting.
