Job Description

As a Farm Labor Contractor, you will play a crucial role in recruiting and managing temporary agricultural workers. You will ensure compliance with labor laws, provide necessary training, and oversee worker schedules to meet farm needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of farm laborers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with farm management to create staffing plans.
  • Implement best practices for labor management and worker safety.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for labor audits.
  • Respond to safety incidents and address concerns promptly.
  • Schedule work assignments based on farm needs and labor availability.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires on safety and operational procedures.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment that values communication.
  • Report regularly to the Operations Manager regarding labor status.
  • Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance labor efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration or related field is a plus.
Experience
  • Experience managing a workforce of 50+ employees is preferred.
