Crane and Tower Operators

Job Description

As a Crane and Tower Operator, you will be responsible for climbing and maintaining telecommunications towers, installing and repairing equipment, and ensuring safety standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
• Conduct site evaluations before tower work begins.
• Utilize telecommunications testing equipment for system verification.
• Document and report any incidents or safety violations.
• Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) in good condition.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred 5+ years of experience in telecommunications

Technical Skills

• Telecommunications Equipment Handling
• Safety Compliance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification
• OSHA Certification (Preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Fiber Optic Systems: Knowledge in fiber optics installation and maintenance.
• Leadership Experience: Experience in managing or leading a team of technicians.
